I have read more then once on the site, where people were saying that mallards are not as smart as grey's. I have been duck hunting 25± yrs, and have yet to see a grey slicker than a mallard.I have a blind in a ag field on family land, that I hunt mostly, but have hunted marsh,and timber. My family is going to wild wood from 3rd-10th of July. We would like to catch a few fish while we there. I have been going on the tides according to the caminada pass. I am fishing leeville east of the bayou.Do you guys think that is the best location to go by for the tide?
I have fished mono my whole life. I have tried power pro ,but done with that lol . I usually use black widow by hi-seas. I have noticed it is not holding up well on the oyster beds.I like it a lot very lil memory and small diam but losing fish ,and hooks.
