Was wondering if anyone could tell me how far out of south pass I would have to run to catch Aj's, grouper and is there alot of oil rigs out of south pass? I usually fish Pensacola but bring boat home to get repowered so I figured I would give Venice a try! Any help would be appreciated!

Another great day in Venice! Me and my Dad went down to Venice to shake down the new 26 footer before we bring it to Florida! Caught a limit of specks by 10 with only one through back! All and all a great day!

The wife and I headed to venice and fished friday- sunday. We caught limits of trout everyday with only one that had to be measured the hole trip.After the trout were caught went after reds and bass.Found them too!! Ok, trout were caught in the 1st spillway.
