Just wanted to share the photo of the largest deer i have ever had the opportunity to take down. I got it in Big Wells, tx. He scored 159 3/8, it is the second largest 8 ever harvested on the 1400acre ranch. This was a high fence place but for the record,he is a native deer. I got to the blind early that saturday morning and set up, everything looked like it was going to be perfect. But of course with my luck it didnt, my call didnt wanna work. I started to pack it up but i decided to tuff it out and try my luck anyway. Well,I managed to get a hog this morning to add into my freezer.This seems to be a pretty good year,so far.All I have left is the lotto hunt in lake ophelia.WMA's seem to be pretty good for me and the rest of my hunting buddies.In all 11 hogs and 1 deer.There would have been more deer but there were a few misses....lol...Atleast it wasn't me missing.
