I have planned a fishing trip with a group around the end of March to Lake St. John. Never fished there before, would like some tips on where and how to fish it and any reports would be helpful.

Can someone tell me, is the Atchafalya Spillway from Butte la Rose to Henderson considered PRIVATE LAND OWNERS and need a Lease or is it public? I cross it every morning and sure see a lot of ducks floating north of I-10. But, don't see much hunting going on around that area. At least it don't look like it.

I have duck hunted around South Central LA for a couple of years. Mostly crawfish ponds or bayou around deer camp. Tired of killing mostly woody's Was wondering, hear alot about people hunting down in the marsh areas, and was wondering.
