Had a great dive yesterday out of Port Fourchon, LA. Clearwater was in close and the seas started the day calm. We got a few nice Amberjack on the boat.

FINALLY the weather this past weekend was wonderful. With the calm winds and the seas flattened out we were afforded a great Saturday on the water spearfishing out of Venice, LA. Temps were right around 85 degrees with visibility far and currents easy. My buddies and I hit the rigs taking some AJ, Mangrove, Barracuda and Trigger Fish. Enjoy and thanks for watching!

I competed in the Louisiana Council of Underwater Dive Clubs (LCUDC) Annual Spearfishing Rodeo this past weekend. Waters were murky out to 35 miles. Check out this video of me shooting a not so big Amberjack and my buddy Walter miraculously untangling an AJ from a rope and beating me back to the boat. We had a great spearfishing dive yesterday with Big C., Papa Smurf and THE HAMMER. The seas were flat and we had no wind but with strong currents and dirty water on some rigs we still managed to take some nice fish.

I was very lucky to have seen and filmed this Black Bear while hunting in Tensas NWR during the Lottery Hunt this past weekend. This bear came out of the woods about 75 yards away then moved toward me. He then realized something was up and moved to my left easing away.
