looking for some tips/advice in hopedale out of breton sound marina for the weekend to go catch some fish...not looking for anyones hot spots, just a little input to put some fish in the boat.

I found this out by accident but those dirty stains are....
I am looking for some tips on going somewhere in the lake p or Rigolets area tomorrow. Species doesn't matter, just want to go out and get away for a little while. Any tips please?

Maybe someone can shed some light for me. Today the wife And I took the bay boat out to run it since deer season is about over. I usually bass fish a little place off the pearl river in bogalusa but today a 'posted' sign was at the entrance of the pond. My question is...how is it possible to 'post' a body of water connected to a river or what not...thanks in advance

Had a great time out yesterday at the train bridge in our new boat! Got 12 sheep, 1 red, and a few drum.
So I just got my first bay boat. a 17ft whitewater CC. can anyone point me a few tips as to catching a few specks and drum in the rigolets, twin span, highway 11, or shorelines around that area. really wanting to skip out on opening day of rifle season to go fishing! thanks in advance

I had 2 dogs come out in my lane around 430 pm. After another 30 min or so, one dog comes back really skittish with his tail between his legs! 2 coyotes following him. I have never seen this before!

any reports of trout, reds, or sheepheads being caught around bayou st malo, lena lagoon, the rocks? im sure some of you noticed me posting before...all i have is a 1448 aluminum boat so distance is an issue...just looking to see if the fish are biting?

Reds were thick in St.Malo a week ago when i went.
Went out of Breton sound this morning. Took my wife out to try and get on some trout. I've been reading the great reports on limiting out so....arrived around 615 am and headed towards Lena lagoon. No fish. Went back to rock wall and caught 1 16' trout. Headed up to bayou st. Malo and picked up 2 more trout and 2 sheep head. All caught on popping corks. Can any fellow fisherman help me out? I heard today that the bodies of the missing couple were found. The boat was found on the bogue chitto capsized. Prayers going out to the family!
Does anyone have a report on the deer action in bens creek or bogue chitto? Driving to work the other evening, I must have seen 25 people at the main gate of Bens creek and down the highway, orange throughout the woods. A friend of mine killed in the BC nwr this past week. Just looking for some reports on either one. Good luck!
