Does anyone have an idea of what the water level is around Three Rivers east of hwy15? I would like to know if the river has flooded to the levee and how high up the levee if possible. Thanks

Took my boy on a short trip to my Grandpaws in MS. He shot his first squirrel and we caught a mess of bass. Last weekend, our hunting crew got all the kids together to catch some catfish and wound up with a little over 30 with the majority of them between 2 and 4lbs.
I am a woods man not a water man but I was asked to join my father in law this weekend for a fishing trip. Neither of us are familiar with salt water... Any tips for fishing cocodrie this weekend during the front?

Got a good pig this past weekend with user dirtyharry David, Obie and the kids. This boar broke the cable on the scale twice. The scale max's out at 300 and the arrow went just over it both times as the weight was settling. I would say 310-315. The dogs did great and it was once again, a great hunt with friends and family.

Went out a couple weeks ago. Limit on bull reds and about 20 trout on 7-14. 1 26' red and 27 trout on 7-15
Going to Cocodrie to do some in shore/off shore fishing this weekend. The weather isnt looking to good. We are going in my brother-in-laws boat and he is just as green as I am. If we dont get to take the boat out because of the weather I would like to do some bank fishing, and we know nothing about the area. Had a good hunt this morning. Roll Call : Myself and my son Skylar for his first hunt, David, Jake, and Obie. Set out just after daylight to a spot that the land owner suggested. I have a boar that I got back from the taxidermist a good while back and I have only one problem... It looks like he brushed his teeth after every meal, and I am tired of seeing this error. Got to experience a great trip to Morgan City with Tab, Seth, and Bud. We started out dry, and on our 3rd drop we managed to get on a couple. The dogs pushed the first one (70lb sow) into Grand Bay. It looked like the pig was gonna try to swim it! We used the boat to block the pig off and while getting him in the boat the dogs had bayed and caught a 80lb boar 20yrds off the bank. My buddy....
