Does anyone know if blacktip sharks are any good to eat and how to cook them? I have about 50+ that have been swimming around my platform for the last 3 days chasing fish, jumping out the water, just all kinds of action. Is it worth cooking or not worth messing with? Thanks

Can someone give me some advice on where or what I need to do to hunt this WMA? I've never been to Sherburne and I'd like to bring my son duck hunting there. Thanks for any help.

With the ducks hard to work, do you think it's time to try....
Just wondering what kind of duck calls other hunters in the area are using? Personnaly, I try to support the locals like Haydel, Duck Commander, and Faulks. Currently this year, on the lanyard, I have the Haydels Dirty Rice, Quackhead Quackstacker, Duck Commander's Willies Camo, Haydels Bluewing Teal, and Haydels Magnum Whistle. What ya'll using this year?

Has the recent rains put enough water in Sherburne yet for duck hunting? I remember reading reports of it being low. I've never hunted there, but would like to this year. Thanks for the info.

Anybody ever hunt ducks in Thwistlewaite? I've deer hunted there several times and I know of a pond back in the woods and was just wondering if anyones ever seen or hunted ducks in here? Thanks.

Looking for information on duck hunting on Cocodrie Lake between Turkey Creek and Cheneyville. I think there is other Cocodries, but this one is along I-49 Southeast of Alexandria. Wanting to know if this lake is for public duck hunting or not? Thanks.

Are mergansers common around here? I killed one this morning and didn't know what it was until I brought it to a taxidermist to find out what it was. Just wondering if its common around Louisiana? The taxidermist said he hasn't seen any in about 6 yrs and only about 3 through his whole life.

Does anybody know any public duck hunting areas? It seems everything is leased up and you need to pay high dollars just to lease a blind. Any help appreciated. I live around the Ville Platte area.

what platform are you working on?
As stated you need to clean them asap , sharks don't have....
Preparation is everything. Get the skin off and ice down....
The sharks you're seeing are probably spinner sharks....
Definitely bleed...Also, the meat doesn't freeze very well....
