Minimal amounts of teal in the air this morning in biloxi marsh so we picked up the rods at 7:30 and went for trout. Caught about 100 with only 30 keepers. Most fish were caught on the shrimp creole matrix shad. A few on the ultraviolet and a similar colored D.0.A. I believe I am done fishing until October. The past couple of trips have not been productive and i cannot remember ever catching this many catfish in my entire life. From the causeway to breton sound they have been hitting any bait you throw be it live, dead, or plastic on top bottom and suspened. I am done fooling with them this summer.
Had a steady trout bite today on the tracks. Almost didn't go because of all the rain. Sat at Dockside and watched it rain for about an hour. Got the boat in the water for 8am with sky's clearing.
