Does anyone have any info on how the lafitte area fared from Isaac?saw quite about flooding but,haven't seen much on here about it.i wish everyone well down there.you all are really a tough bunch of people.thanks

The road is still closed pass Goose Bayou. I went down....
looking for opinions.thinking about getting a power pole.i trailer my boat about 800 miles to get to your wonderful area and am concerned about the stress on the transom with the power pole mounted on it.they are so convienient and im getting older but i dont want the transom to fall off.thanks for any opinions guys.

im going to homasassa fl. sometime this spring or early summer.was looking for advise on the best time period to go.its a long trip from indiana so i have to balance good fishing with stable weather patterns.i know fl. is not in louisiana but,im sure people on this site can offer some good advice.thanks.

You might try Florida sportsman or google florida fishing....
just returned from a trip to leeville.i had the good judgement to go fishing with capt. bob.i have to say he is as good a guide as i have ever fished with and the nicest!couldnt recommend him any higher.boudreauxs was a very nice place to stayand everyone was very friendly.just all around a great trip.
im looking for a guide recommendation out of leeville.looking for reds,trout.i take my own boat and fish for a week,but i like to get a guide the first day,not only to catch some fish but,to learn something about the area also.i have never been to leeville so that makes a good,and informative guide that much more important.thanks for any info.

just got back from a trip to sweetwater marina and wanted to say that it was great!capt. jack was a great help and everyone was very helpful and friendly.i would recommend it to anyone.thanks jack and cindy.

first let me say that i wish everyone down there the best with the flooding.i live on a river up here so i can relate.i was just wondering how the high river will impact the delacroix area.i have a trip planned down there at the end of may.thanks for any info.

the black bay area will get some river water from the....
just wondering what seasonings every one boils their shrimp in.i usually just use zararains.i like it just fine but,im sure there are better ingrediants or add ins.also,how long do you all boil the shrimp.thanks.
