I'm putting together a benefit bass tournament for a friend of mine's child. He was born at 27 weeks at 1 lb. 11 oz. He's had a brain hemmorhage and had several surgeries and transfusions due to major complications. I'm proud to report that the little guy is up to 4 lbs. and doing well. My brother came in from the Army and we decided to head to Lake Verret and give the bass a break. Caught 23, fishing worms 18' under cork. Great day of fishing and good company. Started out strong, 7 in the boat in the first 30 minutes. Steady through out the rest of the day. Left 'em biting!

My brother is stationed at Ft. Polk and I live in Baton Rouge. I'm looking for a place around halfway in between for us to meet up. I have a boat, he does not. Looking between Lafayette and Lake Charles. Or between Opelousas and Alexandria. Would prefer a good lake, but any nice sized body of water with fish will do. Fishing for bass, sac-a-lait, bream etc. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks.

Taking my son to Flat Lake for the first time. I haven't been since I was a kid, but still remember the massive amounts of bream we caught. I need any information on which boat launches are in the area to get to Flat Lake. From what I remember, there was one on the south end of the lake. Also, any current fishing reports would be appreciated. Thanks.
