Shot this 5x4 elk in Colorado this year. It was my first elk hunt and totally DIY. We had a great time and were fortunate to harvest one of these magnificent animals.
My dad shot a nice 6 point this morning. He hunts about 5 miles west of DeQuincy. This buck was following a doe so they may be starting to rut a little bit. Shot with his .45-70 at about 20 yards.
I am a regular member of the Mathews Forum and I can tell you that all of the Mathews bows are great. One comment that I do see alot is 'I love my new *insert bow name here* but I sure wish I had kept my Switchback XT' This is still one of the smoothest, great shooting bows that Mathews ever made IMHO
