We need help down dularge for our bayou clean up we have every year. Please go to Events & Announcements here on the Fishing page to read up on this. If you fish down there like I do, then one half a day clean up is not asking to much. Free meal and give aways and pick the brain of the fishermen, not bad.
There is a good write up about small fish and not keeping the bass on the front home page called Small Fry. Y'all need to read it if you want to get rid of the small bass in the spillway.

The poll only concerns your thought as to whether or not....
I would like to get ya'll to go to CCA Louisiana web site then click on contact us and ask them if they will give you a up date on what they are doing to help us out about these gated canels. Last year they said 'BEGRUDGINGLY' they were gona try and help on this problem, but I can't get any kinda answer outa them. Joe your right, NAVAID light's should be on all Fenced off canals, with Slow Down Markers also. With all the SUE HAPPY people out there I'm suprised they have not been pulled down because of Law Suits from people running into them.
Tim Long Your letter says it all, thats the way most fishermen feel. We don't want on your land just access to the Publics Water and fish. If someone got hurt while fishing in a blocked off canel, the first words out of the land owners mouth would be, I don't on that water only the land under it, that's the states property. Anyway Tim thanks for having a clear head about this matter.
On these Gated Canals, if the land owner just had a rope with plastic barrels attached to it for a gate to keep people out and his neighbors horse and cows swim under it to feed on his grass, does he get to keep them to? Well I just recived my Renewal Subscription to the CCA for next year. Ok CCA I have been with ya'll since the get go, when it was the GCCA and I have sent you exta money for your lawyers to fight gill net's. Great job on that point --- Thanks.
