does anyone else find it funny that one week before duck season that everyone starts asking for advice? seriously? 'is it legal to bait ponds?' lol stay home and do your homework like alot of good hunters do and stop 'faking it till u make it'......just my 2 cents

Been doing a lil scouting out at the wax for the passed few weeks and it looks horrible, not a single teal. If anyone was planning on hunting there, I would try and find another spot. Not sure if it was salt water, fresh water, hurricanes, or the rugamaroo that scared them but no birds.

they got birds but you better bring a extra prop and be....
Pumped up about teal season and stuck offshore so can't go check out if they are down yet. Any reports from the wax lake delta? Ill be spending the entire week out there and was just trying to get and early report in teal numbers and if anyone was catching reds in the marsh. Thanks
Does anyone know if Don's Landing is having the catfish tournament this weekend? I know a couple guys on here were in it, including me, last year and i havent heard anything about it. Please email me instead of comments because im leaving my computer for the night.

went hunt the wax yesterday, quite a few birds but even more idiots!!! ive come to the conclusion that its not the bird numbers that r down, its the idiot numbers that r up making the wax look like its not producing. these are pictures from a month or so back when i was asking about it being legal to take hogs with a 17 hmr. I had 5 bullets shot four times and kept one round chambered because i had to scare 9 hogs out from under my stand to get down. got four of the corn stealers. now i need a bigger freezer. what u guys think the big hog wieghed?

225 to 250lb.
I have a savage 95 17hmr. With a bull barrel. At 150yrds my groups r no smaller than a skoal can. Gets better at 100 but not much. I have a tasco 3x9x40. What can I do to get tighter groups out at 150yrds? Would an accutrigger help? Oh and it only shoots ballistic tips accurate..the hollow points are everywheres!! Is that normal?

well i came in from offshore and had to see for myself that there were no birds in wax lake.. guess the weather yesterday did wonders (11/21) 4 hunters we got 10 greys, 1 widgen, 9 teal by 8:30 it was misserable and we stayed wet and cold for several hours but it sure does beat a day at work. going back monday

Well looks like I'll be spending opening weekend 150 mi in the gulf on this ragetty ole rig...good luck boys and leave a few for me next weekend...and I don't mind u guys rubbing it in with tons of pictures tom..good luck and stay safe and legal

Anyone have any milar camo pattern stencils? There kinda a use one time purchase. Has anyone else ever used anything else as a substitute? I'm about to paint my boat and the seasons gaining on me...shoot me some info so I don't end up with the ugliest boat in the water..thanks, BJ
