Made it out to the woods this past weekend for a bit of scouting. Saw some young prospects and found the bedding area of a nice buck. Hope to catch up with him soon!!!!

Looking for the pros and cons of a mini truck over a Kawasaki Mule or similar type atv. The Mule has served well over the years and now considering a new one.The mini truck looks interesting but i would like to hear from someone with experience on both vehicles. Any advice is appreciated.

Shot this deer in Burnet,Texas in mid November on a Friday evening. After a long night at the camp we found it Saturday morning about 75 yards from where i shot it. A large hog running away from under a tree helped us find what was left of my trophy. Notice the rib bones missing. They left me just enough to make a nice mount.

On Wednesday of last week (Sept. 30) my compound bow apparently flew out the back of my buddy's truck. It happened near Rollover landing on Hwy.82. We were only on the highway for a few miles between our lease gate and the camp. We backtracked several times with no luck. Its a Matthews Solocam in a soft camo case. Can anyone confirm or deny the authenticity of this story? These images were supposedly captured around Oberlin in Allen parish.A hunter went to retrieve his downed deer and found it had been eaten on, so he set up a trail cam to find out what it was!!!!
