Havent hit Pass-A-Loutre yet.

Killed the trout down river. Popping Corks and 1/4oz jigheads. All in less than 6' of water.
Hit the wagon wheel looking for bass. No sigh of bass, caught a limit of reds in the pockets of the wagon wheel.
Lots of trout being caught at the jump, but the trout we caught down river where WAY nicer...females.

I'm glad y'all caught. I heard they were biting good down....
Cold weather pushed alot of fish back in the 20' range. Fished today, had over 30 bites, boated 7.
All bites came on Carolina Rigged Watermelon Craw Worm - Work it SLOW.
The fish were on the bottom in open water, on points, ledges, dropoffs.
Water temp was 69, Friday was 75.
Warmer weather this week will move them back closer to the surface.

Had 3 20+ fish trips last 7 days on Okhissa.
Baby bass senkos, nail in the tail.
Some fish deep, around 10' caught fishing it slow. Some fish shallow runnning shad.
Fishing there will be good til water hits about 62. Its 75 right now.

Small female on the bed. We pull her off in hopes a bigger female lingering will go up. We REALLY wanted the bigger one, but she never went up.

What no one understands about the Government employees is....

Just read where a yakker was run over at dark and killed in Texas the past weekend by a bass boat.

Put in at Fourchon public landing this Wednesday. Slowed down and came to an idle at the road/bridge right there by the landing, to idle under the bridge. People fishing all around from the banks.
