I heard from a reliable source who was at the town hall meeting and read an article about a new diversion that was approved to be placed in braithwaite that will be the size of the bonet carre spillway that will dump fresh water and sediment into the Delacroix marshes...does anyone have any info on this???

Wantig to go bowfishing this weekend. Normally would go to Delacroix where my camp is but water looks like chocolate milk still I'm hearing. Anyone have any areas they've been with some decently clean water? Kicking around the idea of catouatchie or Manchac
Anyone been or heard any bass reports from the Delacroix/Reggio area? Just wondering how bad the fishery was hurt from issaac.
Lookin to pick up a few sacalait w the split closing ducks after today. Anyone having any luck anywhere?

Heard rumors of people gigging flounder in lake Merapaus...anyone ever heard of this? I could see it with tr salinity levels rising but flounder arent like redfish they normally inhabit high salinity level waters; or at least that's always been my understanding...any input/info is appreciated thanks.

When the river is high like now there is a flow from Davis....
Goin scout it out this week coming...anyone kno what a good water level is to reference when the water is decent height in the swamp? I went scout for teal after lee and the water was pretty high obviously so jus Tryin get a grasp on how to Gage that water level..thanks for the help

Parked boat at entrance to lake and walked all around the....
im looking at the louisiana office of state land map, and it shows you all of the privately claimed land in the state...well the areas that are marked as unclaimed/not privately owned and posted and just fall under the state owned category can you hunt on that??

is lake beouf its self public, or is jus the WMA south of it public and the actual lake private/leased out? went ride around and saw some good looking spots, i just dont want to get caught on anyones property thanks!!!

went to go hunt this afternoon and i was looking over regs for this season, and saw that teal season was only showing up as sep 12-27, and was just wondering if i am missing something because all of my friends and everyone on here are reporting killing teal?? could someone please enlighten me as i would like to not receive any tickets for illegal kiling haha. thanks!
