question... i have a 1900 bay nautic star. the gas cap/filler is located on the side of the boat. i have a real problem every time i try to fill her up at the gas station. i have included a pic for a visual. anyway, i cannot put gas pump handle on full pump or even any hands off setting or it backs up and spits gas out about a foot. i have to hold the gas pump handle barely on and milk it..... didn't have high hopes when headed out of dockside this morning since there was a serious chop in the lake. however, caught nice drum right away and 15 minutes later my buddy hooked up with this monster.
limited out on drum by 11:30am caught a really big croaker and a 28 inch red to end the morning.
man, i love fishing

i just got a 2004 Nautic Star bay boat 19 foot on a load master trailer.
my question/dilema is this...
every time i load the boat on the trailer, i winch it up as tight as i can. then when i pull the boat out of the water (and the back end goes down) the front end pulls away from the winch. in the pics the boat pulls off of the blue roller. if i leave it like that.... Read More

i recently bought a 04 nautic star 19ft bay boat with a 115 yamaha 2 stroke.
i have only used it about 4-5 times so far.
when i am running and have the trottle pushed forward in forward mode, the trottle will slowly back off and slow the boat back down. i cannot take my hand off of the trottle. i have to hold it the whole time. my last boat had a hot foot so i never had this problem before..... Read More

Inside the housing of the binacle, there is a tension screw.
i am about to purchase a 19ft nautic star bay boat that is 'wired' for a Lowrance elite 5dx chartplotter. can you tell me what other lowrance models i could install with this info? could i get a HDS5 charplotter/fish finder?

The Elite and HDS units take different cables

That would not make it feasible to simply place a HDS unit that is hooked up to the power and transducer and power it up.

there is a certain large pond that whenever i keep a bass from it, they have these weird, gross little round (coiled) worms in there guts. i think they are maybe 'roundworms'.
anyway, are they okay to eat? are they safe?
