On my current and previous boats I aligned the cavitation plate on the motor even with the bottom of the boat. Today I purchased a Blue Wave boat and the transom doesn't go all the way down to the bottom of the hull. Do I align cavitation plate with bottom of transom, bottom of boat, or somewhere in between? I appreciate any help.

Launched out of Four Point Landing in Dulac at 5:30 this morning and bought 20 cocahoe minnows (just in case). Rode out to the end of Bayou Sale and started fishing in Bay Blanc with plastics then tried minnows and caught hardheads. Headed out to reef in Pelto and after no bites with plastics threw out a minnow and caught a speck. Fished a while longer, couldn't get anything to bite. Pulled up.... Read More
