Started off in the surf of last island in muddy water without a bite for about 45 minutes. Moved west and found some cleaner water until the trawl boat came right by. We caught 39 specks and 272 white trout. Father in law wanted some meat for the freezer so he definitely has a little reserve for a while. All on artificial! There was a report yesterday that had a link to an interactive map which covered the closed areas throughout the state. I can't seem to find it on the LDWF website and on this one. Direction is appreciated.

Here's the link to the interactive map. You can switch to a satellite view or a hybrid of both. It will show satellite images and roads, etc to help you define the closed areas.
You can also zoom in.
Note: It appears the map was last updated on 6-6-10, so it doesn't reflect the openings in Cocodrie/Dularge that were made last night. With the closures changing daily, please monitor our site for the latest closure information.

Does anyone know of a distributor for lights that can be installed under the water line on a bay boat for night fishing? I have been unsuccessful in my web search for reasonable lighting that won't hit me for less than $2000.
