Any advice on where to catch some crabs this weekend? The little lady wants to catch/boil a few. Preferably someplace I can reach by car, from Lafayette, as the boat is in the shop.

This Thursday, I will be in Lake Charles for work. I was wondering what places I can either fish from the bank or my kayak for a few reds/specks. Any help is appreciated. Will post afterwards. Thanks.

you can put in under the I-10 bridge and fish the bridge....
I am trying to take the kayak out this Thursday for a quick trip. Has anyone been catching anything at Lake Martin? Cypremort Point? Spanish Lake? If it swims, I want to hook it. I'm not greedy--just needy. All info is appreciated. Thanks.
Has anyone been catching any reds/specks in the bay? How abut any crabs at Marsh Island? I am itching to take the boat out this weekend and any help will be most appreciated. I will post my results, even if I bat zero.

I got to go this weekend. I will be heading to....
Need a place where I can get in a few hours of bank fishing this weekend near the Acadiana area. Has anyone been catching any reds near the Point, etc. How about catfish in the marshes or Spanish Lake? Any info will be much appreciated. Will report and post pictures.

Over the Christmas break, one of my uncles told me that they rocked off the canal under the little bridge on the way to the State Park. Has anyone seen this? This is one of the places where I launch my kayak.

Has anyone been to either Spanish Lake or Lake Martin since Ike blew through? Just curious as to how much damage each lake sustained. Did they sustain any fish kills?

Spanish Lake near New Iberia didn't have any fish before....
I will be spending the weekend in Aleandria bored off my arse. Is there any place that is good for fishing from the bank or from a kayak?
