I spent the weekend down in Dularge this past weekend to run my new boat for the first time. I decided after a few near death experiences in dularge crossing lakes in rough weather that it was time to upgrade to a bigger boat so I finally pulled the trigger. Hey guys can anyone tell me anything about getting a captain's license? I'm talking about the license needed to take customer's out on a fishing guided trip. Hey guys I just got into a camp down in Cocodrie a few months ago and I've been fishing down there the past few weeks catching a few trout in Lake Boudreaux. Im ready to run out to the islands to get on some big trout. When will the trout start moving out to the beaches and rigs out of Cocodrie? doesnt it usually happen in late may?

Hey guys im heading down to Cypremort Point for Easter weekend to stay with my Mom's side of the family for easter weekend at a camp on the water. Hey guys i have a early 2000's model Yamaha 150 Vmax on the back of my 18 foot triton bass boat. Ive noticed over the past few months that after i trailer my boat and take the trim saver off the motor, the trim saver has 2 stroke oil on it... and I can see where some oil is dripping out of the cowling of the motor. Hey guys has anyone been catching any fish in the Cheramie or Bayou Black area? Im looking to get out and do some freshwater fishing in the next few weeks but cant go to the spillway because the water is rising and fishing hasnt been very good. Lots of big tournaments starting out of bayou black. 2....

Hey guys I'm looking to get a good depth finder for my bass boat for fishing deeper areas in the spillway and in lakes. Ive never been one to use a depth finder to find fish but apparently it works pretty well. Can anyone tell me what the best depth finder/ imaging one i can buy for my boat right now? im not looking to spend over 600-700$ but thats kinda pushing it.

I was supposed to head down to dularge this morning but slept through the alarms at 4 am this morning. Woke up at 10:30 and decided to go out to Bayou Pigeon on a solo trip. Got to the launch at noon and fished all day for bass and sac a lait. I fished hard and threw crank baits, brush hogs, worms, speed craws, and spinnerbaits. Can anyone tell me who to get in contact with about the private boat launch in dularge that is just passed Jugs? It is right passed jugs, over the hill and on the left hand side. Headed down to dularge early saturday morning to try and beat the winds that were forcasted that day. Me and my cousin fished marsh around Mud Lake out of the winds from 6am to 6 pm at night.... One would think to stay out there that long we must have been loading the boat huh... I love reports like this one, it's not just about filling....
Im always fishing down in dularge and on the coast in different places, so im constantly checking the weather. It seems like every time i go the weather man or weather.com says the winds will be 5-10 mph, but once i get down there the winds seem to be 20mph or more. I'm wandering what ya'll think about this. Hey guys Last time i took my boat out i had a big problem with my power pole. I noticed my power pole was going very slow coming out of the mud when i would press the up button when we first started fishing.
