Hi guys, Im looking for a place to make some hunts during the week. Im mostly interested in deer hunting, but ill hunt anything. Im located in Baton rouge so the WMA's are a bit far to drive for one hunt. Does anyone own some land around Baton Rouge that wouldn't mind me hunting it? I will be very respectful to your land and property. Thanks

Im looking for a place to hunt this year near Baton Rouge. Im looking for some public land or if someone has private land that wouldnt mind me hunting it. I am very respectful and follow all hunting regulations and would respect any rules or requests that you may have. Does anyone know where I can buy shiners near St. Amant? Ive heard that cabelas in gonzales sells them, but it seems that everywhere else that used to sell shiners doesnt anymore.

A few buddies and I want to go camping this weekend, we are thinking about either Tickfaw State Park or Fontainebleau State Park. Are their any public hunting areas that we could go kill a few squirrels on close to either of these? Or is there a state park or campground near some public land?
I was scouting the other day and ran across a thorn bush with some orangish yellow fruit or berries on it. i have never seen this before, what could it be? it has a citrus smell and is about an inch in diameter. they are perfectly round.

Me and a couple of my friends are looking for a good place to go crabbing near Lake Pontchatrain or the bonnet carre spillway. Anyone got any suggestions?
I have heard that there is good crabbing in goat road canal. i have been to the spillway off of hwy61, but ive never been as far as this. can anyone give me directions to goat road or the spot where people have been crabbing? also do i need 4wd to get there? id really apreiciate any help, thanks.

so im driving down the road through the land that i hunt and i see this monster buck. i saw him about 50 yards down the road from my stand. Ive seen hookings that he's made and there huge. How can i increase my chances of killing this deer.

Hey guys, there's alot of talk about the rut starting up. I have killed deer hunting cut overs before but was wondering if the deer will still move in a cutover that was cut at the beggining of this year.

they will. my buddy hunts them and it gets cut about 4 or....
Im hunting a fairly new area. Ive scouted and cant seem to find much of anything. is this just normal for this time of year. what should i look for. what kind of stand placement should i choose on the opening day of rifle season. Any little bit of help would be appriciated. thanks.
