Not alot of ducks around but sitting in grass been shooting afew..it's been hard working turnaround only get oneday off so when I find the birds I only get one good hunt bc can't go next day.. Also it takes me a while to find birds it's not easy at all this year

Well teal hunting has been slow...decided not to even try biloxi after the storm for teal season.. Have been hunting pearl river wma getting a few teal every trip...very few birds out there very few but have some shooting opportunities every day not many though..have a feeling if we didnt have the storm the place would be great teal habitat..still in all i think biloxi is best bet for big ducks.... The Pearl Should be falling now..I think it has crested....
May have seen a flock of 15 gadwall today while fish bobs lake Biloxi marsh. Is that possible ? They were In a V formation only 100 yds away def not mottled they were not brown at all

I don't see many grey's for teal season but I always see....
Saw 3 groups of about ten teal yesterday deep in the biloxi marsh. Not a huntable amount yet the teal were about a mile apart each flock. Lots of mottled ducks of course. No teal around goose flat which is surprising i thought id see more there but the teal were in different area. The specks are biting great in lake eugine and crooked bayou area. Anyone know if the grass beds that extend out into the edge of lake lery have any teal in september? Was thinking about hunting the edge of the lake oneday on the south side of the lake? Also map shows grand lake and sun lagoon state claimed? Also much of the open water by pencil canal? I would imagine the state would fix the map if it was that wrong over the years?

Limited out in biloxi marsh today 5 greys, 1 drake greenwing teal and 2 drake hooded mergansers...didnt launch the boat till 7am.

Been doing well in biloxi marsh seeing large amounts of puddle ducks however yesterday the front blew all of the water out it was bout 3 feet lower than the day before. Seems like the ducks left with the water. Had been hunting broken marsh which real good when water is high.. seems like the ducks were in the ponds further outerlying marsh that are deeper. Anyone shooting any teal in point aux chenes? I have made two hunts in pac this september and have not shot one teal yet. I hardly even see any teal to be honest. There are more greys flying around then teal. I have been having greys land in my decoys and mottles but no teal. We went out last saturday and saw very few maybe 30 or so.....
Do any of you guys use a spot gps messenger for those areas where you dont get cell phone service? I noticed the phone coverage in hopedale is very bad and was considering getting a spot gps. Thanks for any info.

I agree with everyone's account of seeing less ducks. We....
I think alot of the ducks you see in february are here....
The problem is not with the LDWF is it with the USFWS. ....
WE NEED TO ALL GET AFTER LDWF TO TRY TO GET A LATER SEASON....
Some blame lies with the storm but we aren't the only ones....
