This is a long shot but if anyone needs a fishing buddy for the last weekend of snapper seasaon I can help with gas, bait, whatever. Hit me up. I have my own gear but no boat.
Hunting a crawfish pond with nature vegetation surrounded by rice, etc. Last week I tried a large spread and had no luck. I thing i am going to go with no more than 6-9 decoys in small spread out groups. Any better suggestions? Area is approximate 200 acres but surrounded by thousands. Their are lots of birds flying. Its pretty terrible that someone would kill and behead a mother bear.
I hope the LDWF gets some leads and puts whoever did this behind bars.

hey last guy didn't get to bad of a punishment, i know it....
Something has come up and I can no longer use the (3) permits I have for this Saturday (Sherburne South Farm Waterfowl Lottery Hunt). I dont have them with me but I believe they are transferable.

Got the mail today and I had two letters from LDWF... I got drawn for a marsh hunt at white lake opening week and the I got drawn for the south farm lottery at sherburne.
I feel like a kid on christmas morning!
I've been to white lake but never hunted the south farm at sherburne.
Anyone have some info they can share with me on what to bring, expect, etc.

Well I enjoy hunting just as much as killing. ....
I am headed to fish lake sam rayburn in texas this weekend and was wondering if anyone had any advise on what to use. I will be bass fishing of course.

I have been talking with someone who advertising a lease as the property manager but does not have any kind of written lease agreement. He is not the property owner. How do I protect myself from getting ripped off? He told me I could call the company who owns the property and talk to them. But, I am not comfortable giving someone money for a lease without anything in writing. Advice?

I just got a Thompson Center Omega and I am looking to get a new scope for it. I am not trying to break the bank. Does anyone have any pros/cons regarding BDC or regular scopes? Any recommendations?

Not sure where you are located but in my personal opinion....
Anyone have any success hunting Thistlewaite this year? I have hunted Sherburne and Tunica with no success. I am thing about giving Thistlewaite a try this weekend. Is there anything I should no other than what I can read about it on the LDWF website. (I know about the buck restrictions)

Went yesterday after work to do some scouting.
Man did I find them. Mosquitoes, mosquitoes, and more mosquitoes. Woods look good. Lots of deer signs.
Cant wait for some colder weather.

A couple of friends and I are looking for a place to go dove hunting this fall. I would like to stay in LA or east texas. I really dont feel like driving 8 hours to south texas. If anyone knows a good place please let me know.

Im headed to Grand Isle and I am trying to decide to bring my boat or Kayak. I really dont feel like bringing both. I fish there all the time so its not a matter of catching fish. Its just the method. What do you guys think?

I was going to buy some new broadheads today from basspro and was wondering what everybody used for whitetail. I saw some pretty awesome looking G5 montec's in 100 grain at Academy. They did not have them in 125 grain. I know its all about shot placement but which is better? Thanks.

i'm a big fan of fixed blade heads. in my experience, if....
I just got a G5 expert 1 drop down to put on my Mathews. It twisted the rest all the way down and it is still off center to the left so my arrows all go left. Should I put a couple of washers in between my bow and the connecting bracket so it lines up straight?
