oct,20/21 is blackpowder hunt in catahoula wondering is it good hunting there and what kind of woods pine/hardwoods and is it off of 167right north off colfax la is there camp grounds to camp and anyinfo anyone has to offer i would be greatly thankfull to all realy interested in going make the hunt possibly go thursday to scout and bow hunt before the gun hunt good huntin to all

has anyone bow hunted jackson beinville before i gun hunted it before and had great luck we have a few guys talking bout going for the opener this year and to have a guys weekend you know being the weather may be warm im concerned bout rattlers any info would be great or any tips never bow hunted the big pines before justthe swamps of the basin thanks and good huntin fellas

I would like to tell who ever went to the sandbar in butte larose across from doucets store please pickup your trash next time.Idont think i should have to pick it up but i did cause buttelarose is my home!!!! by the way that is our hunting lease we pay yearly due to hunt there by law we could ask any body we see swimming parking boats and drinking and BBQing to leave but its not hunting season.... i have a couple of ambassadors reels that need a little work cant find any one around breauxbridge or lafayette to work on them tried OCR but they to busy any info would help alot thanks good fishing to all

Favaros in BR on weller ave. fixes a lot of the old reels....
left the house in butte larose sat evening headed down road to the river [atch.river]we set out 9 lines for gar baited with 5/7inch shad this took place around 6pm we were back at house at dark with two gar one 60lb/18lbwhile lines were soking we bass fished with black brushhogg throwing at any trash or laydowns caught 4bass keeping 1 went back thismorning to check lines caught 4more gar.... thought we were crabbing on apache corp but with a miss info some guy rode up saying we were trespassing we left he took pics of my boat and my young kids i was very nice i gave all info he asked for i dont agree with him taking pics of my kids but didnt say anything thought that was stste land by the state or oilfield land now he told me he would press charges did this ever happen any body
