Well we went down to the rigolets this am. Fishing seemed like it was gonna be awesome that morning.. ' We put in at 630' . We immediately hooked up on too reds that were busting the water. We were looking for trout when we wen too this spot but there were to trout home.. We then proceeded to go to a few different spots and We couldn't buy a trout ! I heard someone say that they were fishing with someone and they would pull up to a spot, drop a wire in the water and if the salinity wasn't right they would roll to another spot. I guess they were testing the water till they found the perfect 'salinity' for trout and then Fish in that spot. Can anyone shed some light on this awesome concept for me. Maybe tips or tricks or what meter to buy ??

you can buy a hydrometer at just about any petstore for....
We are supposed to go Sunday morning... Last time down a few weeks ago we didn't see a trout. Just reds and blacks.

Well this is not my first post but its my first fishing report. Me dad and my brother in law went down to campos marina from denham springs Friday morning. Aight Nautic star owners....I don't think my fish box is insulated very well. How long does yours hold ice ? Also, what can I do to make it hold ice longer. I have only put ice in it once and about 4-6 hours later it was half melted. '2bags' ... I think I am going to put silicone in all the gaps at the top and use 3/4 wide by 7/16th thick silicone weather striping along the top were it.... Read More

I have a 2010 1810 NauticBay. I have the same issue with....
Just wondering exactly where the pearl river system is ??? Planning on putting the boat in at rigolets marina. Also if anyone is feeling generous, they could tell me exactly where to go and what to throw...thanks

The dealer wants an arm and a leg for the decal. Anyone have any connections at Nautic star or can get these at a discounted price ???

Well me my dad and brother in law went out at 6 this morning we put in at freniers landing around Laplace and immediately went out and fished some of the power poles. Well it got kinda rough quickly.
