been catching some nice bass every weekend for the last 2 months in blind river area. slow roll spinner baits are working. fish are deeper but hungry before the real cold comes. size from 11 1/2'-14' or so. weighed the biggest in the pic at 2.14lbs, not bad for the area. good luck!

i'm thinking of making a trip to tickfaw this sunday. have the bass been biting? any help is much appreciated. doesn't look like much water to fish, but i still would like to try it. also, are there any canals i shouldn't run in? stumps or shallow water or rocks to look out for? thanks.

Does anyone know what weights have been winning the Wednesday night tourney at Diversion Canal/ Blind River? Also how much is the tourney? It used to be $40.00 a boat.

went out saturday morning 02/10/07. fished cuts off south grand bayou & pierre bay area for 1-keeper & 2-throwbacks. there was clean water down there, but was cold after front. all caught on worms 1-green 2-red shad early in morning. did anyone do better around here?
