Took a friend and a kid frogging last night north of the pen. We did not c a single frog. Never tried there and heard some people catch there but water seemed high. I don't have a mud boat so gotta stay n the canals. Frogging season is open and havent seen any posts. Any frogging reports?

When fishing for red fish and trout in the bays and lakes is it better to fish the down wind side or or up wind side the lake? Any knowledge is appreciated. Try to find fish in lafitte tomorrow after work.

Want to take some neighborhood kids fishing but have no idea where to go. I'm looking for anything.... sailor cats, drum, sheephead. Just want the kids to get some action. Was thinking trestle / hwy11, seabrook, or lafette. Any advice/ recommendations? Any input appreciated.

This cold weather has me wonder about the hot water canal I've always heard about. Been there one time recently and the pump wasn't on and neither were the fish. But gave it a try. Anyone on here know any ting about it. Do the pumps still run and when? Does it still produce fish? Thank you for any tips. Thinking bout braving the cold.

I've been spending the last few months hunting and now need to get back fishing but I don't know where to start. Any one have any luck at seabrook lately? Was thinking bout spending my morning there.

This was my first yr hunting Pearl river wma. Was having good time n decent luck with both deer and hogs. I been using my boat and the area I was hunting flooded pretty good when the river was at 15ft. I have no experience hunting the swamp and was wonder does the water push all the deer out the area and how long before the hunting is decent in the area again? Any advice will help.
