Drove past dockside and live shrimp,thinking I would fish the south end of the tressles.changed plans and ended up fishing icw area with green hornet on a plain 3/8 head in the marshes south of the locks.caught my limit,lost a 3 foot tarpon and a gar about the same length.poor brother in law got skunked with same bait.

Got to go when I can,and hoping the weather man was wrong,which he wasn't,went to fourchon area for the first time in a kayak.I had one of the worst trips in my life,and that's saying a lot.if one of y'all catch a Calais on a cumara in the hole between the two points after the crane goin towards grand isle,there's a reward,a long shot I know but I love that reel.
