Is there any where close to NOLA to catch sac a lait? Bayou Segnette? Spillway?
Ive been wanting to take my daughter to catch Sacs but dont know where to go around here. Please help!

Today I went thru some shallow water and my prop loosened itself. I tighten the prop back but now it make this noise from the prop area at a certain rpm. After that its gone. Wtf?!?

Do ducks flare on dogs? Ive been noticing so far this season ducks flaring on us alot and not decoying. We hunt out of the boat with a popup blind with the dog on the bow. it hasnt been a factor other seasons (until the 2nd split) but something is making them flare and i cant figure it out.

Haven't been there since teal season. I m going for youth hunt but has anyone been recently and seen ducks. Weren't that many teal either during teal. Did manage to shoot a banded bwt though. So I got that going for me.

Does anyone know for sure what the pond baiting rules are? I've heard a million different things. I hear you can bait your pond but it has to be gone for the season, I've heard that you can bait year round just have to hunt a certain distance away. I don't want to lose my boat but would like to keep some ducks in my area since Isaac killed all the feed

no ducks other than the usual summer black ducks.
Hunted that area in the 90's. One teal season we had 30 + grays sitting in the deeks. So not too crazy to see them.
Is the season over? I know we had tropical storm lee last year that killed a lot of grass and we still did pretty good. This is a slight step up from lee. People keep saying the season is done. Some are saying we will be fine. What is the truth?
