Scammers in classifieds. They currently advertising Toyota tacomas in 'great condition' at really low prices. They don't give a phone number, just e-mail address at top of ad. Fished last week in flat calm water. Was able to fly out to 90 miles. Caught 5 nice blackfin, 50# wahoo, 2 mahi, ling , snapper and had this cool whale shark swim around for 15 min. Came within inches of boat.

I have a program that I call CAPTAIN PAUL’S FISHING EDGE OF GPS WAYPOINTS. Presently there are 21 different areas in the files. One of them is named LEEVILLE EAST. The LEEVILLE EAST has over 180 fishing and key navigation points in the area between Bayou Lafourche and Barataria Bay. Many of these locations are in the western part of the Caminada Bay area. The piece has positions north and south of the Bay as well many more towards Bayou Lafourche.
The CAPTAIN PAUL’S FISHING EDGE can only be purchased on the LOUISIANA SPORTSMAN web site. It can be found in the OUTDOOR STORE which is located at the top of the HOME PAGE. It is available for many of the popular consumer GPS systems. Simply indicate the area of your choice AND the BRAND of your GPS system when ordering.
I am sure that the locations in this EDGE file will give you some excellent fishing opportunities.

Haven't been in a year or so but pretty sure it's still....
Spoke with my contacts in Grand isle and they have seen tar balls on the beach and no oil in the bays and inland waters. These closures are 'precautionary' and have no validity. Thousands of gallons of oil, a naturally occurring substance, seep naturally from the ocean floor daily. I have never heard of hydorcarbon poisoning and never knew that the ingestion of hydrocarbons were toxic to.... Read More

Well another season has come and gone. As usual, the duck hunting in my area got better as the season ended, with us getting good numbers right there at the last day. Currently, the fields are full of mallards, pintail, and teal. This has been the identical scenario for the last 5-6 years. Obviously our migration pattern has changed. Well, this story begins in 1970 when my dad bought me a crack barrel .410. I killed a lot of critters with that thing, which later stayed in the gun case when I graduated to a .20 G. At some point the gun was painted white and black because of rust...we used it offshore to shoot sharks (back when these species were a category in fishing rodeos). Here's a nice nine point I killed on December 29th. The buck walked out at 5 p.m., apparantly to "check" some does that were grazing in the plot. He was stink-ie!! Weighed in at 230 lbs.
