Well Seen alot of Rut activity this A.M. ended up shooting a buck(6pt), forgot to turn my scope down and made a bad shot, but hopefully he survives. Been sick all day after serching for him for 4hrs. Does anyone on here hunt in the washington parish area? Havent had time to hunt yet or do any scouting due to other obligations this yr and just wanting to know if anyone has been seeing any rut activity? Will start hunting next week, I hunt around hackley! Thanks in advance!

picked them off here and there, but the 22' pig was worth the trip for me! Caught on various baits from green hornet to opening night color, on 3/8 oz jig head.

picked up a trolling motor, guess it was a good deal for a reason! making a roaring sound when under load, doesnt do it a lower speeds. Its a Minn Kota AT 40lb. any idea what this could be or who can fix it on the northshore? And last but not least, cost?

I usually fish around madisonville/manchac area, but i'm looking to start fishing around the slidell area. I have a 15' flat boat with 25 yamaha on it. I just checked a boat out that is for sale by a guy thats in a bind. he says he has papers on trailer, but not boat. the motor alone is worth more than what he is asking for the whole boat. After getting my limit of does for the season,(and not seeing a single buck) I had pretty much givin up on hunting for deer and was planning on moving on to rabbit hunting. Well, decided to give it one more go with bow in hand! Not the biggest, but just goes to show that hard work pays off!
