Brought my gf up to the ranch, first afternoon after we arrived and after 1-1/2 in the stand this monster walked out. She dropped it with my .243 WSSM at 147 yards. Took 5 of us to load it up. She couldnt be happier!!!

Great opening weekend! Hunted with Blu's Hunting Lodge out of Kaplan. Saturday there were birds fyling everywhere. Bagged 18 with 5 people, would have got our limit if we had a few better shooters with us. Birds came from everywhere! Sunday was a little slower, the birds seem to have avoided the pond we were hunting in, but still managed to bag 6. Will be hunting with Blu next weekend, will post.... Read More
