I am trying to find out the name of a jig I use to use years ago.

It is a plastic jig with the tail split in 3. I looks similar to a beetle spin body but with 3 tails.


Any help will be appreciated.

I fish the 3 oyster reef in the bay just west of the bridge in Caminada Bay.

I was just wondering if they had a name for them?

Heading to GI this weekend and staying at Sand Dollar. Never been on the East side always fish by the bridge & oyster reefs.

I think there is a artificial reef on the east side?

I also heard of bird island and was wondering how far is was from Sand Dollar?

I have a 16' deep aluminum and taking the wife and kids so I don't want to venture too far in new territory.

I am looking for a guide for a weekday inland fishing trip with my wife and two kids, 8 & 11 at Grand Isle.

We want to have a good time and catch fish. Just want the family to have a good time. Been on some horror trips with a few captains. That is another post.

Looking for a reasonable guide for Cocodrie. All the
guides I checked out are a lot more expensive that the guides I use around Big Lake and Grand Isle and that does not include gas.

Maybe that is the going rate there or I am not checking the right guides out.

Any help will be appreciated

I am looking to rent a camp as we usually do and take the family for 4 or 5 days.

When is the best time to catch specks and find live shrimp. I think it is May but I do not have that much experience in GI.

Anyone went or heard any reports out of GI?

I am heading down there Monday afternoon and wanted to get a heads up of any action.

I am staying at COCO marina next weekend in a 16' aluminum boat. Taking the wife & 2 kids fishing for specks.

I have fished the island surrounded by rocks in the bay on previous trips and did well.

I got a map of the area and looking for some close in spots to try. I have blasted them once at Last Isle in a bigger boat but not this trip this weekend.
