Got 2 tickets to LSU game today and can't make it. If anyone is interested call or text 985-517-5111.
I have the baitwell that has the "fill" and "aerate" options. When using the aerator for the baitwell it usually runs a few minutes then kicks off for a few minutes. Last trip out I noticed the aerator ran continuously. What exactly do I need to fix or replace? Any ideas?

Do they have live shrimp at the Rigolet's Marina yet? I thought shrimp season was open and we just called and they didn't have it listed on their answering machine.

How is looking at the Point? We planned a trip 8 weeks ago, and everyone took off for vacation and now Fay had to come. We are all still making the trip, at least we can eat, drink and play some cards! Sure would love to get a few fish to fry up. We are staying at the State Park and we'll launch the boat when we can.

Read a article of two teenagers missing in Lake Pontchartrain since Sunday, 3/9/08. News article was vague and states that the Coast Guard was still searching, but never was an area listed other than Lake P. CG reports the boat was found and had a hole or two in it. Launched out of the Rigolets before daylight Sunday. Wind howling out of the North. Water low everywhere, some stained, some muddy and finally found some clear with good current. Wind blowing one way, current going another and fish hooked up and pulling yet another direction. Our prayers to the "Fishing Gods" were heard and answered. I have been having a blast catching large black drum during their annual run lately. I noticed on the larger drum that it seems like their guts are coming out of them, is this normal? There is a lot of red tissue protruding from the anus. The limit only allows for one fish over 27 inches, so therefore we were releasing many of the drum. say the bay is muddy and no one is catching much. ....
I am looking for ideas and advice on building a new fishing pond. I have a deep gully on the back of my property that I really think would make a great pond.
