Finally got back on the water today. Haven't been since before Isaac. Awesome morning and we were the only boat in the area. At times it was 'ear ringing' quiet!rnWater is low in Sorrel. Fished the Turner tourney in Stephensville Saturday. When we got back to the dock, this was sitting there. Couldn't get much info, but learned that it collided with a Ranger somewhere. The Ranger was upside down in a canal somewhere and nobody got hurt. That's amazing and says a lot for safety equipment. And it attests to how they build these expensive boats.

Shell cuts in Bayou Sorrel Saturday. Sacs and bass had lockjaw, but the bream were hungry. Ran out of crickets and left them biting.

Anybody have a report on the Henderson I-10 ramp? Been hearing some horror stories about how low the water is.
Also along those lines, how safe is it to run? Don't want to lose a lower end or worse.

Usually any pond or bayou that has grass or coon tail or....

Put in at Sorrel and went to the south end of Pat's Bay after work with youngest(26) son. Grass has taken over and couldn't get in without outdrive so we fished the grass along the canal. We threw jigs, beetle spins, crank baits, spinner baits and top water poppers in all colors. Caught one small bass and missed another something.
