Hey guys, I just leased some property around Columbia MS. Prior to this year I have hunted in the Atchafalaya Basin my whole life. So I was looking for some advice on what I should plant on my food plots on my lease in Columbia. What grows best in the sandy soils? When is the best time to plant? Thanks in Advance

I took a few days off of work last week to do my favorite hunting of all... Frogging... I missed opening night, but had a good trip Friday night with 105 and another good trip Monday night with 100!! Nothing beats a good froggin trip!!
Does anyone know of any cabins/camp rentals in the belle river/Stephensville area that may be available for this coming weekend? Any info would be greatly appreciated!
I am down here working in Lafitte. Since i am working nights I was thinking about making a fishing trip 1 day next week. Can anyone suggest a good guide around the Lafitte area to take me out to catch some reds and specs!?!?

I recently purchase a skiff powered by a 35hp gator tail. Given that the skiff is 19'7', it is fairly slow on the water (25mph). That is with only myself in the boat. I was wondering if anyone can tell me what I can do to get a little more power without going into the motor. I have been told to change the exhaust and the air filter. Does anyone have any reccomendations.... Read More

Are there any coon hunters out there, that have dogs that will not run deer??? I have a lease in Ramah that has PLENTY of coons and I would like to kill a few, (actually I would like to kill a bunch of em)... If you have dogs that wont run deer and want to make a hunt or two let me know... I ill be available to go during the week or weekend starting Monday the 28th.

Sorry, I am a little late on the post, but here are the frogs that we caught opening night!

Well, it took a little convincing and arm twisting... But after pestering a buddy all day, I finally convinced him to take the airboat out in search of a few frogs! I just had no idea we would find this many!!! One of my best frogging trips ever, back at the landing before 11... Thanks Micah... I'm glad i was able to talk you into it!!!

Me and a buddy had a pretty good weekend! What was supposed to be a spec trip turned into an inland redfish trip after we made it about 5 miles out! But we found the reds and had a great time!

Got invited to go on an opening night frogging trip! I just couldn't pass it up! After getting torn up by mosquitoes for about 3 hrs we cranked up the airboats and began our mission. Despite the high water we did pretty good, we ended up with 26 in about 1 1/2 hrs, but had a bunch dive before we could get to them. Between 3 boats we ended up with almost 150, not bad with the river being so high!.... Read More

Went out Saturday for a few hours to set a few jug lines (noodles). We could have loaded the boat up, but because of prior engagements we had to quit early. It was a short trip but we had a good time and we put some meat in the freezer! Had a good time getting the lil guy involved, he had a blast!
