The blind is built with fastgrass and cane and you have 12 hours to remove it, or it will be removed! Outstanding Hunt Today!!!!
With the strong NE winds, it made for a wet boat ride today, but we go where the birds are!!! We setup in a small pothole off a big Lake on my lease and the grays wanted in bad!!! We missed a few opportunities on teal as they were too fast for us this morning! As 7 approached, the grays started pouring in on us in flocks of 10 plus! We let the birds work as close as.... The birds have arrived in full force after last nights front!!! Took a quick ride today to my leases and saw hundreds of teal, grays, pintail, redheads! Only a few weeks left guys and its on! I still have alot of openings, so call now!!

Duck Season almost here!!!
Only a few more weeks guys and the season starts. We have over 3,000 acres of privately leased land to ensure our customers recieve the most productive hunt possible. Show up in your tennis shoes, as you will never step foot in the mud, and will never get wet. I have 3 other guides that are working with me this year, so we have plenty of room for everyone!

Tuesday I had the pleasure of Louisiana Sportsman writer Rusty Tardo. We had an excellent trip, focusing on inside trout fishing that will be published in the November issue. Teal Limits and Redfish Limits!!!!!
We had a great trip today Casting and Blasting! First off, we smoked a 4 man limit of teal this morning. The hunt went very well with all decoying shots. The birds were definately more plentiful this morning and mostly flew between 7-8. We finished up by 815 and headed back in.

Had a good hunt this morning, with alot of new birds that came down with the front! Should make for a great next few weeks.
The last two days we have been fishing in the evenings and smoking the reds and drum! We are fishing the Lake Robin area on wind blown points and pockets with dead shrimp under a popping cork. Basically, any point with moving water and wind blown is holding fish!

Well, I made quite a move this morning to some exterior marshes I have leased in search of some birds. I scouted all evening yesterday after I fished, and found a good number of birds, so this morning we setup on them. I had 3 dozen dekes and 3 mojos rolling. As daybreak broke, the skies were empty, with only a few mottle ducks laughing at us. At about 645, we started.... Read More

Opening day of teal season was a big disappointment to say the least! We scouted and scouted for days trying to stay on a good concentration of birds, the water rises 6 inches overnight and pushes all the teal out! We actually only got one opportunity and missed all 3 birds.

The fish are moving inside already..i smoked them bad....
Took another ride today to my leases and saw about 200 bluewings today! Everyday seems to add a few more birds, and trust me by September 15th, we are going to be loaded. The river is almost at its all time low, so none of the normal duck habitat up and down the flyway will have water, its going to be a banner teal season with a historical big duck season!

One stop shop this morning in the sound with 100 trout iced down by 8:38! I had the pleasure of Dustin, Chase, Dave, and Craig down this morning in hopes of loading the box with some specks. Honestly, I was a bit skeptical that we would be dodging storms all day, but it was absolutely beautiful. We pulled up to the honey hole, and within everyones first cast, they put me to work. Had the pleause of Mike Bourgeois, his sons Michael, Andrew, and Trent along for a trout slam. These guys own King Kooker, and are the kings of outdoor cooking supplies. We loaded up at 5am with 300 live crickets and headed for the secret hole. We pulled up on the first rig, and hooked a 20lb redfish, got him in and gave it about 20 minutes with 2 throwback trout. The hot fishing continues down here in Delacroix guys! Had the pleasure of Dwight, Charlie and Rhett yesterday for a day of trout mauling.
