The Natchez-based Miss-Lou Mass Club fished Tew Lake north of Jonesville May 23rd with 23 anglers.
Junior (Team E Marine) Book of Lake St. John won with a knockout 21.97 pound limit plus the lunker of the day of 5.85 pig sharing the livewell with a 5.38 and a 4.80. Book culled 22 bass fooled on plastics.

Four years ago during the Bassbusters Circuit a "dream day" happened...team with 23 pounds got zip money...a few way above that...all the stars aligned that day...moon, water, air, sky, the whole deal...Louisiana can put this against most any state and beat their best competition stringer in a public lake.
