The soil sampling process itself is simple. To collect samples, follow these steps:

I hear that there is a push to ban certain ammunition. Why can't a law abiding citizen own whatever they want?????? where is the harm??????????I own guns and ammo and never shot anyone and don't think I will ever have to, but why can't I buy what gun or ammo that I just want even if its only to look at? Please forward to all congress people if you agree. mike

Fertilizing

Lime and fertilizer should be spread at recommended rates and worked into the soil with a disk or drag. It is best to apply lime and work it into the soil about six months prior to planting, because it takes a substantial amount of time for lime to react with the soil and adjust pH. Fertilizer can be applied either before or after the seedbed has been prepared, but ideally, it....  Read More

Harrow to Improve Stands of Clover

Here's a quick tip for landowners with wildlife openings or fields that have reseeding annuals and perennials, such as crimson clover and Redland II clover, planted in them. Be sure to lightly harrow these areas during August every two to three years.

Harrowing will cover the seed produced by the parent plants and allow germination and....  Read More

When hanging posted signs leave about a quarter of a inch of the trailhead out of the tree, it will keep the tree from cracking and breaking your sign as it grows.

Property line maintenance is one of the most important things a landowner can do yet it's one of the most neglected. To get your property line marks to last longer use a machete to hack the bark off of the tree in the spot your painting. It can be the difference between painting every 3 years vs painting every 6-8 years.

Give a listen to the song my daughter wrote/composed.

http://www.grammyamplifier.com/artists/submission/magic

If you like it, select the Amplify button and share it.

If she gets enough votes, she has a chance to get a music video, open up for a Grammy winning artist or get a collaboration session with a Grammy singer/songwriter.

Thanks for hitting Play!

I experienced similar sorts of problems with Jason Jarreau of Pro Ride Trailers. I had shopped around and looked at other trailer manufacturers and after meeting and talking with Jason, I decided to deal with ProRide Trailer for my customized trailer. I placed my order with the nonrefundable deposit with an estimated 4 week completion date and it took 9 weeks for the trailer to be built with....  Read More
