I fish butte la rose canal and henderson a lot I've looked at maps but can't seem to see how to get to cow island can anyone help can I get there in my nitro bass boat?? Water is real high but have no clue were to go

Thinking about going for some cats this on the blind river this friday. Anybody have any advice? Thinking about some jugs and tight lines.

As of May 21, 2013 Toledo Bend’s lake level is 170.28. Generator 1 & 2 are currently shut down. Mid lake water clarity is stained to clear, and the south portion of the lake is clear. went to pigon today tried big pigon little pigon tried ever kinda of bait i could find tried to catch anything that would bite bass catfish perch brim only thing i caught was a small catfish had a talk with him he said all the fish are in the woods eating the bugs he said next month when the water comes out the woods the fish will be back starving for worms and crickets so i let him go told him.... We used to go to Darrow years ago and fish the Mississippi....
Went to sorrel today to fish the Shell cuts, was out there for about 4 hours without a single bite.

haven't been home(south Louisiana, a.k.a. God's country) in month's. Finally, headed that way. Can anyone tell me where the sac-a-lait are hittin? I was thinkin of hittin up Bayou Catabla, possibly the Gremit, or Big Alabamba.......
Has anyone ever tried the sac a lait fishing at Okissa. I hear there is some slabs in the lake, I have only fished it a few times and wouldnt know where to start with it having so much structure. Any advise or just conformation that there is a fishable population of sacs would be a great help..
Thinking about hitting Pigeon on Friday. Anybody hearing reports if they are biting? Is the water high/muddy?

I need some help on where to bass/bream fish this weekend. To my knowledge, this river stages for b. pigeon, sorrel, and even old river (morganza) are too high. Any help on where to launch and spend the day on saturday would be great! I live in baton rouge so im not wanting to drive over maybe 2 hours. Thanks

be ware of the game wardens this pst sunday me and a buddy got a fine for idling in the butte la rose canal for making a wake witch we werent i was doing 2mph no wake at all so after i got the ticket i was telling people in the canal to watch out but they have already gottena ticket for no reason they must have tagged atleast 12 people so watch out
