My wife and I went out this afternoon to fish a few bream and crappies on a private pond on a family member's land. All was good, she loves perch jerking and was having a great day catching bream after bream on crickets. Just earlier she had released a small bluegill and told me she thought a bass took a shot at it when she tossed it back in. Not long after that when her cork went under, she....

April 27, three-year old, 39-inch tall Andrew Angelette caught this nice sized perch (sacalait) on his Shakespeare 'Cars' light tackle in an Oak Alley subdivision pond near Geismar, La. He caught the monster on a ball of wheat bread while eating the rest of the slice. Andrew is the son of Drew and Kristine Angelette.
I was planning on making the run over to Henderson this weekend and would like to know if there are any new reports? This would be my first time fishing the basin, so any reports or guidance would be very helpful.
Went out with the wife for a quick 4 hour trip on mothers day and caught 82 nice perch in Bay Wallace. we also had a couple of catfish in the mix. This site won't let me upload a picture for some reason.

We invented the TAngler. A device that allows people to fish without having to tie a knot. It's perfect for amateur fishermen and fisherwomen, kids, the elderly, people with dexterity issues, people with poor eye sight, anyone who does not trust their knot....i think you get the picture.....

Brooke and Ava, stayed home and gave him a chance to redeem himself, while his dad, Sam and I were his deckhands. Baylor responded with the biggest catfish of the day and even a rare sheepshead for the most exotic fish of the day. All is right with....
I don't think we will be changing Baylor's nickname from 'Fish Master' to 'Eel Master' any time soon!! Haha! He hauled in this big sucker and then did not want to have much to do with him once he got in the boat!

It was very windy, but still pleasant weather. Using river shrimp, we were able to catch enough for a nice meal in a couple of hours.
