I was wondering if anybody has seen any Cobia show up offshore yet (near coast)? I have a new bay boat and am really wanting to take it out to try and catch one. Thanks.

Pat Tarantino of Pet Express asked me to take his family and friends to catch some big fish. Well be careful of what you ask for because you just might get it. The first stop was the right hit because Pat had the first and largest amberjack on the line in short order. Just as that was going on Rob had the black fin tuna busting the surface right at the boat so it was all hands on a rod and watch.... Read More
Finally got a day that the seas were almost flat and decided to get the crew together for a trip outside. We wanted to go after Tuna, but the river water was everywhere. Went past Medusa and 'Green Water'. Decided to try a few rigs on the way out for King Mackeral and got sharks. Trolled the Midnight Lump, got one small Wahoo. In desperation, stopped at WD152 and limited out 5 AJ'S in 40.... Read More

I got word today that plans are already in motion to remove shipshoal 26 (The Pickets) and all surrounding structures. Because of the rig's structures, it has become a prime fishing spot for many local fishermen. If this is allowed to happen, the sportsman of this area will surely suffer. Does anyone know who we can contact to prevent this from occuring? Senators, representatives, CCA, etc.? If.... Read More
