this is my second year to bow hunt, I recently bought my first crossbow and have got in a lot of practice with it, i'm just wondering if there are any seasoned hunters with a few tips for someone who doesn't have much experience hunting with a bow?
Looking to hunt Big Lake WMA this year during bow and primitive weapon. Never been there. Can anyone please share any experience they have had?? Maybe what areas to look at? I know it's a lot of palmetto thickets. Any help would be appreciated.
My group was successful in the NM archery elk draw and we're headed to unit 6a on September 5th. Never been to 6a, or hunted NM for that matter (only hunted elk in CO). Anyone been to 6a in New Mexico? Advice or help of any kind would be very much appreciated!
I have not been getting hardly any pass throughs and am wondering if I should get a new bow or not. I shot a new bow today and at 63# 29' DL it shot 274 GPS. My old bow shoots 250 fps with same setup. Does 24 fps make that much difference as far as pass through goes? Also, would using a heavier arrow (maybe full metal jacket) on my old bow fix the problem instead of the A/C/C arrow I....

Hey guys I am heading to Illinois for a weeks worth of bow hunting. Any best practices, products, or brands that you find are light enough for bow hunting but very warm also. Lows expected in low 20 s the week I will be there
