I’ve been fishing the Louisiana shore line shell flats and clam shell, 2ft to 4ft water where speckled trout are feeding on mullet and shad. Also, fishing slicks with nice trout to 5 lbs on the south level and the north level walls. Best bite is incoming tide fishing off ICW on mud flats and shell 2ft to 4 ft and 10ft of water, catching nice trout and lots of redfish to 9 lbs. The flounder.... Read More

Sabine Lake Fishing is great. I'm fishing most every day birds, working the north end to black bayou , and to mid lake. The best bite out going tides. Shrimp are coming out of marshes. Trout and red fish under birds. Fishing most 2 to 5 ft water, also in open lake after the tide slows fishing the mussel /shell flats. I'm working baits slow over the shell bottom. Good limits of.... Sabine Lake fishing is GREAT. We are fishing the North end of Sabine Lake, East Pass to Coffee Ground Cove. We are keying on mullet and shrimp. Birds are working over schools of trout and red fish, with the high tides. Also, we are fishing Bessie Height marshes for speckled trout and red fish. We are fishing the cuts and the points on the Neches River. The rains have also pushed nice.... Read More

Fishing on Sabine Lake has been outstanding so far this year. Speckled trout are being caught from the lake to the jetties. Also the beaches and short rigs have been producing solid size trout and redfish. Sabine Lake is one of the best kept secret bodies of water to fish in Louisiana. Sabine Lake Fishing is great. We are fishing mid lake to the north end and to east pass. Also the ICW fishing over shell flats working 2ft to 4ft water, keying on birds. Also working early morning speckled trout to 5 lbs and fishing open water with nice red fish mixed in this pattern. My brother, his oldest son and I make trip to Sabine caught a few trout and one flounder. One trout 24 in plus caught by my nephew.

Made trip to Sabine Saturday 5/15 caught some nice trout and reds. We ended up with 12 trout and 6 Reds most part all quality size fish 2 specs 24 in plus. 1 red 21 in.

Sabine Lake fishing is good with the northwest winds and the low tides. This month I am fishing Neches River, Bessie Height Marsh, Entergy Canal and ICW. At Bessie Height Marsh, we have redfish and flounder, which I’m catching on C T Redshade/LSU Bayou Chub Minnow 1/8 Tru-lock Jig Head tipped with Fish Bites Shrimp, fishing the deep cuts in the marsh drains keying on mullet. Sabine Lake fishing is great this month. Fishing the north end of Sabine lake with the northerns coming in. The north winds are keeping the tides low and the birds are working everywhere up north with shrimp/mullet coming out of the marshes heading to the gulf.
