Went to henderson today with my daughter we put in between the 2 bridges , it was very busy , the hydrilla was very bad , we would go down a cut 10 mins later you were blocked in , we tried our hand at bass , catfish , and crappie fishing with no luck we talked with a few people out there had the same luck as us , we might try indian river tomarro.

I fish butte la rose canal and henderson a lot I've looked at maps but can't seem to see how to get to cow island can anyone help can I get there in my nitro bass boat?? Water is real high but have no clue were to go

be ware of the game wardens this pst sunday me and a buddy got a fine for idling in the butte la rose canal for making a wake witch we werent i was doing 2mph no wake at all so after i got the ticket i was telling people in the canal to watch out but they have already gottena ticket for no reason they must have tagged atleast 12 people so watch out

Went fishing in Henderson sat , all i can say is i did all the fishin my wife did the catchin , she was loving every minute of it , she caught this one on a June Bug Zoom Fluke , 16 1/2 inchs, i missed about 5 on frogs and never caught nuthin.

There is a big fish tournament (Bass, Sacalait, Bream) being put on as a fund raiser for CASA of SoLA. Biggest fish in each category wins $500. Kids division (under 15) will win a trophy for biggest fish in each category. The tournament will run the entire month of May. Entry is only $25 for adults and $5 for kids. I'm familiar with the Basin fishing and boating scene but was wanting to try crawfishing for rec. purposes. Anyone out there have any advise for me? ie. where to go what type of traps bait melt or fish. I would put in at butte larose with a 17ft Gravois 90hp not exactly a mudboat. I'm happy with just catching 20lb or so while we ski or fish
