Anyone knows status of Beshel's marina. Are they
rebuilding/rebuilt? Is live bait available? Any info would help. Planning on making a trip down there soon.

Fished the pt Sat. Couple specks in
second bay and couple reds in wreck. Decided
to see what it was like in black bay. Wrong
decision as the rollers made for bumpy ride. At
least the boat can take it. Water looked pretty
stained on inside and was still cold. Maybe 2-3
weeks and it should be on.

Has anyone scouted the pointe since the first split has ended?
Goin out the saturday to scout and make a blind ill let yall know what its looking like
First split wasnt a good one hopefully the second split will be much better.

I would really like to get my hands on a 'good' pair of shrimp boots, low on the leg that would actually last more than a season. Wife says she's in for Xmas.Could anyone point her in the right direction on a good product.Price is not an issue,durabilty is. Anything close to BR. Thanks.

I find this year to be a little weird. Opening morning was....
To all of us strange people that still go to 'The Pointe'. You don't need to go far. Go from 1st to second lake and turn right. Fish that whole shore and run through third lake down to Battleground to finish in reds.The trout are nice and everywhere. No WLF enforcement, but doing research on your catch. Beshels store is back up, no fuel,but beer.Tell Robert, Duttie, and Brian 'Hi'.

Tip from today's trip stay around bay law area and work....
We fished Saturday and Sunday while scouting for ducks. We saw plenty grays and a few teal. Opening weekend should be a good one.

Got a question for those familar with Delacroix. Was wondering can you run that pipeline canal from grand point bay north to 4 horse lake. I see it on google maps and pass it up while fishing the Pt but always wondered if I can actually run in it. A report from Saturday. Was able to haul out 37 trout and around 10 whites while fishing Bay Law and Battleground Bay. Most of it caught under birds..... Read More

Yes you can definitely run up the twins, just stay in the....
we went to check out our duck lease in pt.al hashe this morning. marsh looked to be in good shape. ther was plenty devastation in braithway. man it took a hard hit.we stayed out there a couple of hours and did not see not one duck.if anyone else is down that way i would like to hear if yall have seen anything.
Has anyone hunted or fished around Pointe a la hache this week and seen any teal? Last weekend was horrible and I was hoping this front brought some new birds down.

Do anyone know the status of Beshel Marine at Point A La Hache. Specks should start biteing there in a couple of week. I hope the marine is ok and they let outsiders in.

from what I saw of an aerial view, the lift is the only....
I have gone down to Pointe a la Hache the last two weekends. Both Pointe a la hache and Belle Chasse ferries are running normal hours. The road is open from chalmette through braithwaite from 6PM to 8PM.

What's the report for fishing out of Pointe a La Hache Marina? I am looking to come down in the next couple of weeks and wondered if it was possible to launch from here and if anyone had any reports on the specks in the marsh. I may adventure out to Black Bay. I'm anxious to try out my nex Xpress Bay boat. I don't expect to find live bait down there. I'll try to find some on the way down.
