Teal season is just around the corner guys and it will be a fantastic year for us in Delacroix. I have never seen as much feed as we have this year in 25 years of hunting Southeast Louisiana. Last season was the best year my guides and I have had in a decade and I believe this year will top that! The Teal season will run from September 13-28 with a 6 teal limit per person! It will be a awesome.... Read More
Have any of you guys had trouble with alligators smashing your decoys and eating your hard earned teal in Delacroix during teal season? Last September I had a 7 to 10 foot alligator smash 3 decoys and get both teal after I shot a rare double. He swam into my decoys and started nudging them( I assumed he was smelling them) with his nose. He then stayed there looking at me sitting in the grass..... Read More

Or travel or can't afford to travel. (Btw I don't give anything to DU anymore either. Because they do support more grain fields and helping other states more. They reason why we don't get as much.... After reading y'all crazy theories about feeding up north/Water movers/heaters. I decided to do some research on the facts that I could pull up. From what I seen flooded corn or fields have nothing to do with ducks not coming down.

Anyone have any information regarding the land between Atchafalaya WMA and Wax Lake Pass being public or private. I am looking for some timber holes in the swamp but didn't want to stumble into anyone's property. Looking around the Lake Salve area maybe further south towards the WMA. Thanks for the help.
Can anyone give me the name of or the contact information for the 24,000 acre duck lease that goes from Menteur Pass to the Rigolets or for Greenhead Hunting Club in Pearl River. I'm trying to find a lease on the Northshore area or within an hour or two. Thanks for the help. Text or call 985-966-1744.
I am moving to Louisiana in October or November of 2014. While I know it would be too late to develop any land myself for ducks, I was wanting to see about the location I was moving to. I will be moving to Gonzales LA and I am wanting to buy land there that I can over time turn into a duck hole. Not a guide service but something that friends, family and myself can enjoy. About 25 acres worth..... Read More
