My son wants to go fishing this weekend. I was hoping someone could point me to an area where he can catch some catfish and bream. I live in Walker, so I the closer the better, but I am willing to drive further to benefit him catching fish and haveing fun.
Bob McNally battles a 6-lb. hybrid striped bass, thanks to a hot spot found by top angler Al Green. Chunky linesiders can be caught in open water on ultralight tackle and light line, so long as there are no snags to break the line.

I'm still a little new to the lake, and don't know how to tell if its going to be good fishing conditions or not. There's a pond in my neighborhood that is full of huge bullfrogs. If I'm ever there during the day there's always tons of them that poke there head up. If I sit there for long enough you could count atleast 100. If I got my fishing pole and put a plastic worm and hook on it do you think they would go for if? Or is there anything that I could throw out there that they might try and eat?
