My friends and I do a yearly bow fishing trip. We used southern style bow fishing last year and had a wonderful time. Although we did not shoot many fish due to weather conditions we overall had a great time. We told many of our friends about the great experience we had and as a result we chartered not one but two boats this year. The experience.... Read More
May not be right place for this but I am looking to get a 12in X 12in piece of 1/8in aluminum and one bend put into it. Anyone know of any aluminum fabrication businesses in the New Orleans area. Thanks in advance.
Running a 17 foot skeeter bass boat with a 115 on it. Looking for a good place where I can get inshore quick and get on a couple reds. Is this enough boat for the Delacroix area? Any suggestions on where to launch and where to head?

My husband spend a lot of time in and around the waters of Grand Isle. We enjoy just about every aspect of the island...notice I said 'just about'. We aren't the big crabbers or shrimpers, but we do like to play around with it, especially when we have the 6 y/o who absolutely loves the water. Last weekend we decided to catch a few crabs to boil at the camp. How fun to put your traps out.... Read More
John Dongieux had such a good time last month fishing with me, that he was back today. His son Brennan joined us also. Our first stop found a slow incoming tide, then it went slack for hours. With only one fish in the K2 it was past time to move. Our next stop found a couple more fish but slow. Capt Rob was on a hot bite and called me over. Upon pulling up The Chick-Fil-A crew with Capt Rob.... Read More
Tom, Shannon, and Jules with Chick-fil-A joined me today on the Bluewave. Slack tide seemed to be a common theme today as it seemed like everywhere we went the tide was switching and at some spots it never picked up and stayed slack. First stop was a great example. We sat and waited for tide to start moving all the while picking ups some reds and drum along with a freshwater cat. Once the tide.... Read More
Always good to take out father and son combos. Ernest Woodard and his 11yrs. old son Scott came down to Dularge. They weren't particular on what to catch they just wanted to catch. With the winds up it was all reds today. We took off in the Bluewave at day break. We fished a couple spots picking at them. Capt. Marty and I were working the teamwork and he was on a better bite so I headed his.... Read More
Had my Padnuh Allen come in for his birthday. Had a great time with Customers and Friends. Trip started out tough but everyone got to go home with some fish. Caught a nice Mess of Reds on the falling tide Tuesday and a Big Chest of Crabs on Hand lines. Looking forward to the next trip.
My crew had a blast battling the big Redfish and spending some family time together on the water , soon as the anchor was set the first drag started screaming and that was the story for the rest of the morning.
No big secret this time of the year , cracked crab on the bottom in the deep holes are doing all the damage. Thanks Capt. Marty for setting up the trip.
Day two with our Coco Cola group had us targeting reds again. The tide was ripping this morning which made for a super slow bite. We made a move into the shallow ponds covering a lot of water without a bite. We returned to our original location to find a slower tide and biting fish. The bite was nothing like previous days, but the guys pecked away at the fish. Everyone had a great time and.... Read More
Bubba and Ryan Flournoy were back onboard the big Bluewave today. Ryan was in town from New York and his girlfriend meaghan from Canada joined us. High winds today had us tucked away in a protected area. One stop shop today, at a new Honey Hole we haven't fished yet this year. No sooner than we pulled up the Shimano rod/reels were screaming. It was fish on just about every cast. My crew.... Read More
